A number which is completely divisible by a number is called a number factor. 

Factor is called component or coefficient .

Factor को हिंदी में अवयव या गुणांक कहा जाता है ।

Example:- factor of 48

48=1×48
48=2×24
48=3×16
48=4×12
48=6×8

Here,1,2,3,4,6,8,12,16,24 and 48 is the factors of 48
